This is actually a pretty important decision to come to before you buy the tub because once you buy it you cannot just install it inside your home anywhere you want to. The constant moisture that will be given out from the tub can have quite an effect on building material, also there should be enough of support underneath to be able to hold all that water together strongly. In fact the best place would be outdoors where nothing can be affected by mildew and neither do you have to worry about the ground being able to support the tub.
